If you are using the pipe that twist together you shouldn't use screws, you risk puncturing the inner pipe and it's not necessary. No need to move the rope gasket. Web5 de out. de 2012 · I noticed as I get my stove ready this season much of the old caulk has come off in long, hard strips. I was going to try high temp silicone on the pipes. Says it is good for 500 degrees intermitent and 450 continual. The stove is used for pellets and is run for 2 - 3 hours at a time once per week.
