WebMay 21, 2024 · You'll notice that looking at individual categories only the two with the smallest number of data points actually results in a proper forecast line (H & I). If you combine multiple categories you get some combinations that will also produce a proper forecast line (e.g. A,C,D,F,G), but most combinations are just flat. WebClick the line chart, then click Analytics pane, you can see the forecast option. WebForecast is available for line charts only. The x-axis value needs to have a date/time format or be a uniformly increasing whole number. It can’t contain text or decimal numbers. Sometimes x-axis values appear to be dates, but they’re actually formatted as text. They won’t work for forecasting. The chart has to have only one line.
