WebI honestly thought gen 2 was trash because of how easy it was originally for the sake of nonlinearity, but Drayano fixes that and actually makes the gyms difficult. He also makes Kanto interesting and not just a giant gym run side quest, again removing the nonlinearity the original game had that made Kanto so lackluster.
